Fostering a child’s connection to the town where they reside in deepens their awareness, appreciation, and understanding of their surroundings helps to build a social and emotional foundation to support them as children and throughout their lives.

CMT team and Nicomia worked closely to develop exhibits for this 1200 sq. ft space that captures the essence of some of Tucson’s landmark spots. This amazing, sensory rich space encourages kids and their families to explore Sabino Canyon to Sentinel Peak, discover creatures along with rock formations at Colossal Cave, and imagine the universe inside Kitt Peak. The experience centers around a giant saguaro complete with a flying-bats interactive.
