The goal at Childhelp is to meet the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of abused, neglected, and at-risk children ages 1-18. Their efforts focus on prevention, intervention, treatment, and community outreach with a comprehensive objective of providing these children with an environment of compassion and kindness.

Working closely with founders and team members we developed a calm and inviting place for its visitors. Consideration to the sensitivities of the environment had to be given earnest attention.

Color palettes of soft, muted tones were used to create the mural imagery that flows throughout play and exam spaces. Dimensional figures within the murals add a richness of texture. A rainbow striped zebra with an orange tutu rides above the dress up area and a mini market and playhouse engage kids to play and relax.

The space with its hand-painted elements and little discovery surprises provide a sense of welcome and comfort.
